The prints are hand-signed and numbered. They are high-quality gicleés on canvas, watercolour paper or offset prints with light-fast inks on acid-free paper.

In the Cook Islands, dance is a very important part of the local Polynesian culture.

Judith's dance mentor in Rarotonga is Jackie Tuara-Newnham.

Judith studies the different dance forms in the South Pacific in Hawai'i, Tahiti, the Marquesas, Easter Island, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea.

Judith Kunzlé sketches dancers and troupes at rehearsals and performances to study the body language of various dance forms.

In dance studios in Europe, the USA and New Zealand she has observed contemporary dance movements.

She has recently sketched Tango dancers in Buenos Aires.

Judith paints the lush tropical landscapes Rarotonga, and takes her watercolor gear to New Zealand, China, Fiji, French Polynesia.

The Painting Expeditions and Sketchbook Therapy are an ideal opportunity for artists to combine drawing and painting with learning about Polynesian culture and natural heritage.
